While currently residing in Welland, Andrew brings to the Bistro the flavours of his birth place, British Columbia. Classically trained, Andrew specialized in soups and sauces. Andrew believes that nothing feels better on a cold Niagara winter day than a bowl of hearty soup. More often than not, the Bistro can be filled with the aromas of steaming hot flavourful soups masterfully created and unique to Chef Andrew. Rich and filling, full of flavor and texture, these soups are guaranteed to warm you from the inside out. His artistic dedication to the creation of comfort foods is primarily influenced by his west coast upbringing. Chef Andrew prides himself on the warm and jovial atmosphere of the Bistro. Known for a prank or two, his sense of humour is as robust as his food. It is not uncommon to hear Andrew bantering back and forth with his regulars, or pulling together the generosity of his clients to make significant contributions to his community. This year Andrew will be hosting a mitten and hat drive for those less fortunate. Come in for the food, and leave with warm heart, and maybe a few new friends. Never any strangers, only friends you haven’t met, this is the Chef Andrew way!
